ATL Twins Vice Photo Shoot
The ATL Twins (Sidney Sewell & Thurman Sewell) are unlike any one you will meet in your life time. Sure they share girls, clothes, money and a bed but what most people know about them is their back story. Growing up they always did things together and they made sure of it to stay that way. In school, they demanded to be in the same classes and ended up dropping out in 8th grade. After they dropped out they ended up moving around and staying with different people for years. Once they made it to Atlanta they worked different jobs here and there but eventually got in at a law firm and are still working there now. They work hard and party hard and it's only the beggining of what is in store for them. The Red Bull team is on tour to Miami right now and the twins know Brandon Biebel so the team came thru their spot. Photographer Jonathan Mehring came over and set up a photo shoot with the twins and things just got crazier as the night went on. The photos below are for an interview on Vice (which is up on the front page) and another for Skateboarder Magazine which will be out in a couple months. Both interviews were done by Chris Nieratko who is probably the only person that should be interviewing them. You will notice that on Vice it mentions they finish eachothers sentences, which is true. Having a conversation with them is like talking to one person but seperate bodies. They transition back and forth effortlessly while talking as if they know exactly what the other brother is going to say. Anyways here are a few photos from behind the scenes of the shoot.
